How to Pay Taxes
Officers of the Timor-Leste Revenue Service are not authorized to receive payments from taxpayers.
Pay Taxes at a BNU Branch
To pay taxes in Timor-Leste you are required to:
1. Complete 3 copies of the relevant monthly taxes form or annual income tax form, and
2. Deliver these forms and the amount of tax to be paid to a branch of the Banco Nacional Ultramarino (BNU).
BNU will stamp the forms:
1. One copy will be retained for the Timor-Leste Revenue Service, and
2. The other will be returned to you for your records.
Pay Electronically
Taxes may also be paid electronically using Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT).

When making your payment please provide the following reference details:
- Taxpayer Name
- TIN
- Year, and
- Tax Type.
Note that your completed income tax form will still need to be sent to the National Directorate Domestic Tax with ‘electronic payment’ marked on the payment advice section on the last page of the form.
